SYNOPSIS
Agustín, a 70-year-old man with a serious heart condition, receives an unexpected invitation to participate in a reunion game for Costa Rican baseball veterans. As the game date approaches, Agustín faces the dilemma of whether to overlook his health issues and take part in the match.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Luis Diego Pérez is a Costa Rican director and editor. He studied filmmaking with an emphasis on directing at the Universidad Veritas in Costa Rica. He represented his country at the Ibero-American Film Students and Emerging Filmmakers Summit in 2018 and 2019, as part of the Ícaro International Film Festival in Guatemala, where his short film "Las esquinas y otras cosas que se van" (2023) was part of the Project Development Workshop. This short film was awarded both the Jury Prize and the Audience Award at the Shnit Worldwide Short Film Festival and was also selected in the International Film School Festival of Uruguay 24, CRFIC 11, Lúdico 23, Shorts Costa Rica, and the ÍCARO Festival in Guatemala. Additionally, his debut short film "Un bolero" premiered at the Shnit Worldwide Short Film Festival 2018. 
Beyond his role as a director, Luis Diego works as an editor. He is currently in the post-production phase of the Costa Rican films “Hombres Perdidos” (2025) as editor and “Trazos de la Memoria” (2025) as co-editor. He has collaborated in the editing department on feature films such as “Ceniza Negra” (2019), "Lo que olvidamos" (2024), and "La Picada" (2022), among others. He is currently in the development stage of his debut feature film “Invisible Giants".
