SYNOPSIS
A long time ago, Ana Laura, Gustavo and Jesús crossed the border in search of a better opportunity. They worked hard, built a family, and made a life in the United States. Day by day, years after their arbitrary deportations to Mexico, they deal with the grief of being separated from their families. As time goes by, the shattered existence of everyone is slowly and inevitably rebuilt, far away and apart from each other.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Atzin Ortiz González (Mexico City, 1986) is a Mexican filmmaker. He graduated in Film Direction at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has written, directed, and produced the short films "Permanencia Voluntaria", "Post Mortem", "Ana y Eme / Eme y Ana", "Viceversa", and "#hashtag", shown at national & international film festivals. He is the co-writer of the film "Ceremonia" by Dan Chávez, currently in post-production. "Entre Tierras" is his first feature film. Currently he is developing his second documentary feature “Persona Escénica”.
