SYNOPSIS
As everyday passes Maria finds greater concerns for the future of her loved ones, especially her children, as they all live in the current conditions in socialist regime in decadence. As a mother there are no limits to the sacrifices she is willing to take, but the opportunities do not come easily.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Augusto Castillo is a Yucatecan filmmaker, born in Mérida. Graduate in film from CENTRO with a master's degree in cinema focused on hybrid cinema from EICTV. Online producer of the feature film “Cenote” by Kaori Oda (IFFR 2020). His works have been exhibited at the Monterrey International Film Festival, Marbella International Film Festival, etc. He is in post-production of his first fiction feature film “Melting Popsicle” and in development of his documentary “Factory faces” with the Young Creators scholarship from the System of Support for Creation and Cultural Projects (formerly Fonca). He also works as a teacher at UNAY, Arte7, and EBC.
